About
I am a Lecturer at the School of Education at the University of Glasgow. In my previous posts I investigated the emotion perception in Parkinson's Disease (Institute of Neuroscience, Newcastle University working with Louise Delicato) and human face preferences (Face Research Lab, University of Glasgow with Prof Ben Jones and Dr Lisa DeBruine).
I completed my PhD at the University of Hull under supervision of Dr Tjeerd Jellema (Social Brain Lab, University of Hull) and Dr Nick Barraclough (Action Perception Laboratory, University of York).
My research focuses on social perception and understanding how we perceive and interpret behaviour of other people in everyday life. I investigate how we respond to different social cues conveyed by faces and body actions of other individuals and how our judgement regarding these cues can guide our behaviour and motivation. I am interested in supervising students in the areas of social psychology and social neuroscience.
